Sydnexis

I initially began working with the Sydnexis team after I left McNeilCo. We did a Phase 1 website project, using their existing logo and a key stock photo as inspiration (we call her Rocket Girl). The site was fully hand-coded using Zurb Foundation as the framework.

We have now entered into Phase 2—new logo, additional colors, new branding, new website—for 2022. I am currently designing the site in Figma and developing the site on Webflow.

I'll walk through our progress on Phase 2 below, but if you want to check out the old site, it's still live here.

Phase 2 Deliverables:
Logo design loosely based on original logo concept
Updated color palette and branding
Website design, development, and deployment.
Eventually print and digital assets based on branding, for example: business cards, PowerPoint template, newsletters, etc.

For the logo we did quite a bit of "whiteboarding" on post-its and Figma while on Zoom together before we settled on the final four versions. We explored many different color palettes, but ultimately decided to keep the original color scheme.

While still working on the logo, I began sketching out and wireframing some different homepage layouts so we could decide overall look-and-feel. The deadline to have the site go live is June 1, so we'll end up having had about a month of final mockup design, development, and deployment time. No time to layout the subpages. It's time to go! Luckily I love this kind of project. I do some of my best design work while actually developing (and in crunch time).

That's where we are now! Everything below is very messy. If you'd like to see a demo of what we've got going behind the scenes, just ask!
