I'm Fiona, a UX designer and web product manager who consults with biotech companies and non-profits. I am a builder of brands with over 15 years of experience in UX design, web development (including front-end web apps), project and product management, communications, and marketing. I've successfully launched projects that have gone on to earn billions of dollars, and many of my clients return to me again and again.

I have extensive experience in biotech, having worked with clients on both custom software for drug development, as well as branding and web design. Clients typically hire me to design their logo, website, presentations, and other marketing materials. I then build their websites and help with maintenance and growth. Others work with me to design UIs for web applications used by bench scientists. Some of the web apps that I’ve helped design and develop are still in use by major pharmaceutical companies to this day. I have experience building ELNs, small molecule registration apps, and data visualization apps.

In the non-profit sphere I work with both precision medicine-focused companies and religious organizations. These clients typically make use of my graphic design and print design skills, as well as social media marketing and communications. I am particularly fond of small companies that need serious website help. It's fun getting to know their communities and catering to their specific needs while feeling like I am contributing to a good cause.

In my free time you can find me playing video games, reading, trying out the latest PM tool, constantly working on my portfolio (it's never "done" for a designer, is it?), and spending time with my husband and two cats in sunny San Diego.
